This newly built house, constructed to IPARD standards, features 4 hotel-style bedrooms and a large yard nestled in dense forest, next to the Resava River… Day and night you’ll be surrounded by the soothing sounds of the river, forest breeze, and birds — just as the mythological Lesnik intended!
Lesnik Vacation Home is located in the municipality of Despotovac, in the area of the village Jelovac, only 4 km from Resava Cave and 6 km from the Lisina Waterfall natural monument. The nearby area is rich with natural treasures and historical landmarks of the Resava region, such as Manasija Monastery, Krupajsko Vrelo spring, Beljanica mountain, the Vinatovača primeval forest, and more.

WHAT DOES LESNIK VACATION HOME OFFER?
Nestled in the forest, right next to the Resava River, the house spans two floors and is fully equipped for a comfortable longer stay. It has 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms, accommodating up to 9 guests. The yard features a gazebo ideal for outdoor relaxation, with direct access to the Resava River.
Entering the house, you step into a social space that serves as a dining area, flowing into the living room with access to the yard and gazebo. The dining area leads into a fully equipped kitchen. Another door opens to the bathrooms and stairs to the second floor, where the bedrooms are located.
There are 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms: 3 double rooms and 1 triple room, with a total capacity of 9 guests.
Each room includes a double bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, and mosquito nets.
The rooms are spacious, modernly furnished, and come with all essentials: bedding, towels, and basic toiletries.
In the yard, the gazebo is perfect for various activities, ideal for dining and relaxing in the shade, accompanied by calming forest and river sounds.
The gazebo can also host small celebrations and events such as birthdays, weddings, or business lunches.

Veliki Buk (Lisine) Waterfall
Veliki Buk, also known as Lisine, is a waterfall located in eastern Serbia, on the slopes of Mount Beljanica. It is formed by the small river Vrelo, a right tributary of the Resava River. The waterfall is situated at approximately 380 meters above sea level, near the famous Resava Cave.

Manasija Monastery, also known as Resava, is one of the most important monuments of Serbian medieval culture and the most prominent example of the so-called "Morava School" of architecture. It is located about 30 kilometers from the Belgrade–Niš highway, near the town of Despotovac.

Ravanica Monastery, with its church dedicated to the Ascension of the Lord, was built by Saint Prince Lazar between the 1370s and 1380s. An old manuscript describes it as follows:
“He built from the foundations a temple in honor of the Lord’s Ascension—very tall and beautiful—reinforced with four pillars and adorned with frescoes…”

Beljanica is one of the largest limestone mountains in eastern Serbia. It lies between the Mlava River basin and the Žagubica Valley to the north, and the Resava River basin to the south. The mountain stretches west to east for about 24 km, with an average width of around 12 km. It covers an area of 309 km², with 246 km² characterized by pronounced karst terrain in limestone.

The Coal Mining Museum is a technical museum established in 1980 in Senjski Rudnik, a settlement within the municipality of Despotovac. It was created by adapting the old central warehouse of the Senjski coal mine. The museum showcases artifacts and the history of the mine, with exhibits ranging from ancient times to the present day.

The Miniature Park is a unique tourist attraction, not only in the municipality of Despotovac but in all of Serbia. It is located just outside Despotovac, on the left side of the regional road toward the Resava Cave. The current exhibition features miniature replicas of medieval Serbian monasteries, built at a 1:17 scale compared to the originals. Each model is a precise and detailed copy of the real-life churches.
